Vasectomies: Who's Having Them ... and Why?Harvard School of Public Health Means of increasing vasectomy's acceptance for contraceptive purposes are examined cross-culturally. Given the questionable value of this method as a primary agent for reducing population growth, emphasis is placed on vasectomy's appropriateness as a family planning measure in multifaceted health and social welfare programs created to accomplish the goals of a given community.
